Error Message: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer

This problem typically occurs when the user does not have the permissions to log on locally on the computer. By default, members of the Users group have the ability to log on locally, but an administrator can deny the right to specific user or group accounts. An explicitly denied right always overrides an allowed right.

Ensure that the user, or a group the user belongs to (such as the Debugger group), has the right to log on locally. Ensure that the user, and all groups that the user belongs to, are not denied the right to log on locally.
Go to the pc you want to access and follow below instructions.

To assign the user right Allow log on locally

  1. Click Start, select Control Panel,  click Administrative Tools and click Local Security Policy.
  2. The Local Security Policy dialog box appears.
  3. Open Local Policies, and User Rights Assignment.
  4. Double click the Allow log on locally.
  5. Click Add User or Group.
  6. Find the user or group account you want to add, and then click OK.
  7. Click OK to save your changes.
  8. Users that are currently logged on must log off and back on to be affected by the changed GPO setting.

To remove a user or group from the user right Deny log on locally
  1. Click Start, select Control Panel, click Administrative Tools and click Local Security Policy.
  2. The Local Security Policy dialog box appears.
  3. Open Local Policies, and User Rights Assignment.
  4. Click Deny log on locally.
  5. Select the user or group account you and then click Remove.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.

PC automatically shutdown during Windows start up

My co-worker called me up and told me that his pc shutdown automatically during
windows start up. Sounds like its a hardware problem. I turn on again the computer
and it totally won't start. I open  up the case and do visual inspection on the computer.
I turn it on again and I heard strange sound coming from its power supply unit. Looks
like the power supply is not working properly.

Then I removed the power supply and take it apart. I saw one capacitor that have leaked.
I decided to replace the power supply  with the new one since there is no available
capacitor on my stock. Then I put back the new power supply into the case. Then I turn
on the computer and Windows start normally.

Hope this article solve your computer problem too.

The network path was not found!

Problem:
"The network path was not found." is an error message pop up every time I access to our server. Some of my co-employee could not connect to the applications stored on server. I could not also connect to the its shared folders. I could not ping its name but I can ping its ip address. I change the IP address and restart the server but nothing happens. This is what I did and it works.

Solution:
This is how I fix the problem.I uninstall the lan/network card driver and install it again. Before doing this, make sure you have the right installer of you lan/network card driver. If you do not know the necessary installer, look for the brand and model of your motherboard. Search it on the internet and download the
lan driver/network card driver for your motherboard. The drivers of your motherboard can be download to the manufacturer's website.

Hope this solution work on yours.

0x0000000F4 Error

I am installing Windows XP operating system on a hard disk,
that use IDE connector cable. I started to install operating system
and it runs smoothly. But on the process of copying files, the monitor
turns into blue screen. It display the 0x0000000F4 Error. I search
in the internet what causes the problem. I check my hard disk and
notice that there is no jumper that sets the hard disk on master state.

I get a jumper and put it on the jumper settings that makes it master.
I started again the installation of operating system and now it works
smoothly.I finished to install operating system without error. It means
that if the hard disk is not set to master, Blue Screen with 0x0000000F4
 Error will appear.

Things to remember in installing Operating System.
1. Make sure that the IDE cable or Sata cable is firmly connected
    from hard disk into motherboard.
2. Make sure that the hard disk is set to master. Check the jumper
settings if it on master settings.

Note: IDE type hard disk need jumper to set as master while
Sata type hard disk does not need jumper, it automatically set as
          master or slave.
